The company invests nearly 50 million RMB in R&D every year to promote independent innovation, and now has more than 50 authorized patents, including 11 invention patents, 5 of which have been recognized as high-tech achievement transformation projects, and 2 of which have been appraised as the third prize of the District Science and Technology Progress Award. Through the introduction of German Nijhoff multi-head continuous pulling and retracting production line and self-developed intelligent open line equipment and a series of energy-saving efficiency projects, so that Changshun cable from the "manufacturing" to the "smart" transformation and upgrading. "Transmission of power, cable to the future" is the mission of Changshun cable, Changshun people always adhere to the "people-oriented, customer-centered, advocate the green low-carbon economy" as the core values, and actively promote energy saving and emission reduction, reduce energy consumption and protect the environment.
Changshun Cable specializes in the production of environmentally friendly elevator cables and electrical components processing integration, the production process is as follows:
Figure 1 Production process flow diagram
Product process flow description:
(1) Wire drawing: The purchased coarse copper wire is elongated and thinned by the multi-wire drawing machine, so that the diameter of the copper wire is reduced to the required size to meet the production needs of different product types;
(2) Bunching: Bunching of specification wires according to different cross sections;
(3) Ingredients: PVC resin powder, calcium carbonate powder, additives in proportion to the pump into the high-speed mixer and stir evenly;
(4) Pelletizing: The prepared PVC resin powder, calcium carbonate powder and additives are fed into the pelletizing machine through the conveyor belt, and then heated and melted to make PVC plastic particles;
(5) Insulation extrusion: Using an extruder, an insulation layer is added to the copper wire harness by heating PVC plastic particles;
(6) Cooling: Cooling water is utilized to cool the insulation;
(7) Printing: Use of ink to print the desired marking on the insulating layer;
(8) spark test: the quality of wire and cable plastic insulation with a spark machine test;
(9) Cable formation: Stranding of cores;
(10) Sheath extrusion: After the cable is formed, a protective layer is added to the outside of the PVC plastic particles by heating them;
(11) Cooling: Cooling of the protective layer using cooling water;
(12) Imprinting: Use ink to imprint the desired marking on the cable;
(13) ringing, pressure resistance test: the use of take-up machine, the wire and cable rolled into a coil, and pressure resistance test;
(14) Connector processing: Using a terminal machine to connect terminals to the ends of a looped cable;
(15) Finished product inspection, storage: the finished product inspection and storage.
II. Greenhouse gas emissions
The enterprise is located at No.160 Gu'en Road, Xinchang Industrial Zone, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, mainly engaged in the production of wires and cables.
The enterprise's production electricity comes from the national grid and photovoltaic power generation and is mainly used for production equipment, auxiliary equipment and office facilities. The company's fuel use is gasoline and diesel, with gasoline used for the company's commercial vehicles and diesel for trucks.
Photovoltaic is solar power generation, so the enterprise's greenhouse gas emissions mainly come from purchased electricity (indirect emissions), gasoline for cars and diesel combustion for trucks (direct emissions), with no process emissions.
III. Description of activity level data and sources
The following activity data is derived from the FY2022 fuel usage bill, electricity bill, and specific activity data is shown in the table below:
1. Direct emission activity levels.
Table 3.1 Direct Emission Activity Levels
serial number | Fuel type | Total consumption (t) | installations | Data sources |
1 | diesel fuel | 8.48 | Truck, forklift | billing |
2 | diesel | 17.55 | commercial vehicles | billing |
2. Indirect emission activity levels.
